Rocklands Barbeque and Grilling Company

We were visiting the DC area and looking for a good place to get barbecue and saw Rocklands online and thought we would give it a try. So glad we did their barbeque chicken was really good. The pulled pork was also great. We had the Mac n cheese and baked beans both were also very good. It's by far the best barbecue restaurant I've found in the area. The staff were so friendly and kept asking if we needed anything else. We will definitely come back every time we are in the area it's well worth going a little out of the way to get something so good.

Rockland BBQ at Beer, Bourbon & BBQ event: A Disappointing Experience We decided to visit the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ event primarily because of the Rockland BBQ food truck. However, our overall experience was quite underwhelming. We had to wait in line for an hour and 14 minutes before finally placing our order. Opting for the platter meat, which included brisket, pulled pork, and pulled chicken, I chose potato salad and cucumber as side dishes. The staff informed us that our order would be ready in 2 minutes, but unfortunately, it took over 45 minutes for our food to arrive. To make matters worse, my order was missing the potato salad that I had specifically requested. By that point, after two long hours, I simply lacked the energy to argue or have my order fixed. The brisket turned out to be extremely chewy, and to my surprise, the chicken still had bones in it. This level of quality is absolutely unacceptable, and as a result, I will be leaving negative reviews for all Rockland BBQ locations. This experience clearly highlights a significant lack of management and customer service. When participating in a summer event where only four BBQ companies are present, proper preparation should be a priority. Unfortunately, Rockland BBQ failed to meet these expectations.
